Last updated: February 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Quarry collects, uses, and protects information when you use the service.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information, such as name, email address, authentication details, and account status.
- Security information, such as MFA settings, passkey metadata, and authentication activity.
- Workspace information, such as saved SQL, query folders, query history, and scheduling settings.
- Connection information, such as database metadata and encrypted credentials or secret references.
- Integration information, such as Google profile data and OAuth tokens when Google features are connected.
- Configuration information, such as AI model settings and workspace preferences.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide access to Quarry and keep accounts secure.
- Connect to approved data sources and run requested queries.
- Support saved queries, query history, collaboration, and scheduled exports.
- Provide AI-assisted query generation, refinement, and analysis features.
- Enable Google Sheets and Google Drive workflows when those features are used.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the service, including reliability and security.
3. Cookies and Session Data
Quarry uses an authentication session cookie (`access_token`) to keep you signed in while you use the app.
Quarry also stores limited browser preferences, such as theme and workspace UI settings, in local storage.
4. AI Processing
When AI features are used, relevant workspace context may be processed so the model can generate or improve responses. This may include schema context, query text, and related execution details. Only use AI features with data your organization has approved for that purpose.
5. Google API Data
If you connect a Google account, Quarry requests OAuth scopes needed for Google Sheets and Google Drive features. Google data is used only to support the workflows you initiate in the app.
Quarry's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Sharing of Information
Quarry does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with trusted service providers and integrations required to deliver features you use (for example AI providers and Google APIs), and where required by law.
7. Data Retention
Account and workspace data is retained while your organization uses Quarry, unless deleted earlier by an administrator or required for legal reasons. Google integrations can be disconnected at any time.
8. Security
Quarry uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, encrypted credential handling, and optional MFA. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and managing appropriate database permissions.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Request updates or corrections to account details through your administrator.
- Disconnect Google account access from within Quarry.
- Request deletion of account or workspace data where applicable.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
11. Contact
